DOLLFUS＆穆勒NOMEX®毡（芳纶毛毯）用于纺织压实或压延机，染色房子。
针织面料需要预先收缩稳定，以避免在随后的收缩，T恤或polo衫洗衣机。
密实毡促进这一效果（这就是为什么他们可以被称为毡萎缩），改善织物手感。所需的收缩（在2和10％之间）被机械地给出使用温度（通常是在110与160℃/ 280及320°F）和蒸汽的压力由两个连续的环形毛毡织物的两面上。
